The characters
PNN field correspondent. Sent for a puff piece, gets a scoop, and is the only person in the film who changes.
The local animator. Made a film in which a hundred and eight men die. Owns a sword. Is never, at any point, cool.
The anchor. Reads every development, including the end of the world, in exactly the same register.
